He offered his thoughts on the success of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan while expressing his excitement for the film's release. In just eight days, the Siddharth Anand-directed film has made a name for itself all across the world. The film was released at a period when a number of blockbusters starring A-list performers performed appallingly at the box office.
The list of the highest-grossing movies in Indian cinema is currently headed by Pathan. Within a few days of its theatrical debut, it broke numerous records and became the largest Hindi blockbuster movie ever. In just 8 days, it generated a worldwide gross of Rs 667 crore. The action thriller holds the record for Yash Raj Films' espionage franchise's greatest box office take. Additionally, it is the highest-grossing movie in the careers of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, who play the lead actors.
Shahid Kapoor recently responded to Pathaan's success in an interview with Connect FM Canada by asking, "Pathaan ki agli party kab aur kahan hogi? Intezaar kar rahe hain hum besabri se. He continued by discussing the implications of the movie's success for the business. Shahid's instant response was "Money." In a time when everyone is losing confidence in themselves, he continued, the movie's popularity has given people confidence. Shahid believes that Pathaan is the outcome of a great deal of assurance, effort, and work.
Farzi, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, will be Shahid Kapoor's digital debut. In Farzi, a small-time con man sets out to pull off the perfect trick, but a ruthless and eccentric task force commander is out to stop him and defend the nation from his evil crimes. The Family Man famed Raj & DK are in charge of the eight-episode series, which is made by D2R Films. Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Amol Palekar will also appear. Amazon Prime Video will start streaming Farzi on February 10th, 2023.
